This was written for the 176th issue of The Culture of Awareness Weekly Newsletter, which I offer for $11.11 a month.

Income from the newsletter helps me get by and ensures I can continue to offer free content on the blog, and every subscription is appreciated. The option to subscribe is given at the bottom of this post.

I wrote a lot about myself and my path here, but if you can bear with me, hopefully you can all get something out of it.

I met up with an old friend recently, and he asked me a lot about my work; the writing, blogging and the topics I discuss. I wasn’t ‘awake’ or spiritual at all when I used to spend time with this person, and it surprised him to see how different I’ve become.

My personality is the polar opposite of what it was when I was younger, and I was headed down a negative path back then. Looking back on it makes me thankful I changed direction. I didn’t yet have any solid spiritual foundation to stand on, so my life was all about friends and having fun. Continue reading

Spiritual Revolution Is Driven by Love

Spirituality can be summed up by the understanding that beyond our surface perception exist infinite, blissful dimensions of consciousness to which we’ll return upon physical death, and most people not only use spirituality to try to reconnect with those realms while they’re still alive, but to make life fun and adventurous with assurance that consciousness continues after death.

No matter what we do on earth or how good or bad life is for us, we’ll eventually be away from all of it and back in a blissful place where we know we’re loved and accepted.

While we have a lot to do if we really want to change the world, spiritual evolution doesn’t require us to do anything at all.

It requires the simple recognition that our creator and higher consciousness are constantly with us, and we can call on them for strength and guidance when we struggle. It does require some commitment to the path we plan to walk, but the only real commitment lies in constantly surrendering the ego to that higher part of ourselves that can work through us with ease if we let it. Unity: The Conscious Community’s Next Step

There are various active conscious groups on the internet, and it doesn’t take much to find one to which you can contribute. No matter what unique beliefs you hold, chances are you can find a group that suits your needs and helps you grow into the socially and spiritually aware activist so many people strive to be.

It’s great that there are so many groups out there with different philosophies, and the only downside is that they remain separate from each other. Their division could be caused by the fact that their beliefs and the things they strive for are so different, but I think the main cause is that they really haven’t tried to connect.

Every group is so secure in what it’s doing that it hasn’t taken the time to branch out and connect with other socially/spiritually aware groups who have different beliefs but strive for change in similar ways, and in my opinion, our next step will be to unite the various groups with respect for our differences and commonalities. Video: The System Is Beyond Repair

Here, I talk about Bernie Sanders and the idea that the system can’t be repaired by any politician. It has to come down so the people can create something new together, but we can’t change anything if we put all of our faith into any presidential candidate.

Empowered Spiritual Warriors

Why do we limit ourselves or convince ourselves we can’t do all of the things we really want to do? Why are most of us convinced we can’t make any kind of significant positive change in this world?

Our society is rife with disempowerment, and if we want to empower the masses, we have to empower ourselves first. We have to understand that we’re in a significant position to make some real and lasting changes, and the first step is to look within to determine if there are any personal changes we can make so the world can be a better place. Even if we’re the only ones who make a change from the inside out, we’ll still make the world just a little better.

We’re infinite spiritual beings with equally infinite potential, and if we persevere, there’s nothing we can’t achieve. No changes – personal or societal – will be too big for us when we empower ourselves, encourage everyone else to do the same, and address everything about this world that’s in need of change before we can create a new standard of living. -Channeled through Wes Annac-

You will find yourselves able to pick-up on the frequencies and impressions being emitted by us souls in the higher dimensions, quite easily as you grow and develop your multidimensional perceptions and abilities. We quite excitedly await the time when every one of you dear souls can maintain an active and steady link to our energies.

We’re so very excited to convene with every one of you who finds yourself awakened to the reality of our existence and our wish to assist you along your ordained ascension processes. If we could only but express every last bit of our excitement to convene with you in the purest and realest ways possible, than you would understand it indeed.
